Ringer Volume
« on: March 07, 2016, 09:15:25 PM »
Hi,

I have a 5340e & I'd like to have a feature key for ringer volume without having to go through the Super Key process. Does anyone know the feature code? I assume I would set it up as a User Speed Dial?

Thank you in advance

Hello.

Is this not as simple as pressing the volume keys when the phone is idle until the desired volume is found?

IPI.

BHSoundman,

The term SuperKey is only used with the Mitel 3300 not the 5000. Are you sure that your phone is attached to a Mitel 5000 or MiVoice 250?

Thanks,

TE

I'll admit I'm a Mitel newbie. My phone is a 5340e & I definitely have a Super Key assigned to a button. When I press it, I get options for :
Phonebook
Forwarding
Timed Reminders
Personal Keys
Advisory Messages
DND
Auto Answer
Night Service
Ringer Adjust
User PIN
Language

I would like to be able to adjust the ringer volume without it ringing & without going through the entire Super Key menu if possible.

IPInstaller: While idle, the up/down buttons are inactive. If the phone is ringing, then it will adjust the volume.

TIA

Sorry, not possible. The volume changes only in the two ways you've mentioned.

BHSoundman,

This phone is attached to a 3300 not a 5000. I will send this to the 3300 group.

Thanks,

TE

Sorry, the answer remains the same... The ringer volume can only be adjusted via the volume control keys or via the Superkey menu, the 5000 only supports the volume key method (when idle or actively ringing) and the 3300 supports the volume key method (must be actively ringing) and via the Superkey menu, a key cannot be programmed with a preset level.
