Rad Messages
vorlander:
HI,
we have an acd path with a rad that indicate that agents are busy.
We have noted that if a caller is listening the rad, other users in the queue cannot listen the message.
When the first caller finish to listen the message, the second caller can listen it...
There is a way to permit users to listen the message simultaneously?
This is because i want to create an auto attendant using an acd path, so users must listen the message as soon as they enter in the path...
Thank you
ralph:
You are mostly correct.
Once the RAD has started playing, all other callers queue up to the RAD. Then after the RAD hangs up, multiple callers will listen to it at the same time.
I think somewhere around 32 simultanous calls. (been awhile, not sure of the total calls)
What you need to do is install more RADS. How many depends on your traffic and how long your RAD message is. If your RAD is 30 seconds long, if a call misses the start of the RAD cycle, it will wait 30 seconds + call tear down and call setup time.

What i want to do is to create an auto attendant with an acd path.
The problem is that the first caller listen the message as soon as it is in the path.
The second one, has to wait that the first has finish to listen the rad.
I've tried to create an hunt group (rad) that include 3 rads with the same message, but it works at the same way...
Mitel100:
The Hunt Group for embeded rads should always be used even for just one Rad, as you will get problems with them not answering and going into DNd.
Putting the 3 Rads into a Hunt Group should work. All I have to add is make sure that your phase timer in the Hunt Group is set to 1.

Excuse me but i don't understand..
