MAS upgrade certificate issues
« on: November 24, 2015, 05:15:25 PM »
Just ran into a strange issue with a resilient 3300/MAS server upgrade.  We recently upgraded the 3300s from 13.0.1.28 to 13.2.0.17.  Everything seemed to go well, except that after the update we are unable to synchronize the MAS server with the PBXs.  We get a simple failure message when trying to synchronize, and if we try to make changes, we get the following:

An execution exception occurred while setting parameters on MCD.; nested exception is: java.rmi.RemoteException: Failed to start MiXML session. ; nested exception is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found

No other changes were made to the system at the time, and all systems can ping each other with no issues.
Anybody else seen this issue?

Thanks,
Trenton

Hi,

Did you upgrade your MAS Server as well?
If not and its still on 6.0SP2 or earlier, you need to run a patch due to increased security on MCD 7.2
There is a bulletin on MOL for this.
