DND and DEE
« on: October 28, 2015, 03:18:52 PM »
We just had our phone system installed 2 weeks ago and I am looking for an answer to the following question.  If I have DEE on my phone to call my cell phone and I am going out of town and put DND on my desk phone to show I am out of the office will my calls go straight to vmail?  If so, can that be changed?  Thanks.

There's a flag in SYSTEM/USERS.<your name> called ENABLE DND OVERRIDE.  On by default, it always sends calls to DEE.  Off, your DND ON/OFF stops calls from entering DEE path.
Of course, you can also disable DEE (or DND, for that matter) from the phone, from any internal or external phone, or via the user web interface.  Handy for nights and weekends.
