External line indication on Reception phone
« on: September 01, 2015, 01:36:22 PM »
Background:  Mitel 3300.  We have two auto attendants running one of them being for a parent company.  In this auto attendant we have an option to call the receptionist "0".  When this option is chosen there is no indication on the reception phone as to which line the call came from, therefore she does not know how to answer the phone.  How can be place an indicator on the receptionists phone what will allow them to see that the call is from another line?  This line has it's own phone number that the separate from the company's main line.

Maybe try forwarding from the AA to a ring group or a system speedcall number.

ie: 69990, then direct that to the extension?

Not in front of a phone at the moment.  I think a RG does display at the top which may help.
