5550 IP console phone book not working
« on: August 10, 2015, 03:04:20 PM »
Our 5550 IP Console is suddenly not displaying any information in the Phone Book. The BLF tab is displaying entries and everything else is functioning normally. I have been digging around but cannot pin down why this is happening all of a sudden. Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

I thought the Phonebook only showed information when you searched for someone/extension.

Yes that is correct. But when you start typing nothing populates.

how are you populating the phonebook? Direct connect to directory on phone system or via a spreadsheet/csv

It's via direct connect to the 3300. I believe this may be related to Windows however. The system running the 5550 software is having trouble installing updates and is stuck in a loop. I'm preparing a new system tonight and will reinstall the 5550 software and see how it goes.

It turned out that the programmed reboot had been turned off. Rebooting the 3300 solved the problem.
