Backup Restore

While loading the system backup i am getting an error and could any one tell me what is the resons for that error occures. i have attached the error...
system relese 8.0.7.16_2.

probably doesnt like the spaces in the file location. Try renaming the folder 'test lab late' to 'testlablate'.

  Is there a firewall between your PC and the controller?  I believe the controller does a standard FTP from your machine to get the files (same when putting the files when backing up.)

i tried with folder like bobcheese mentioned and PC firewall disabled,
i have xps2 on my pc.

hhhmmm not sure if IE8 is supported yet. Can you try it from a machine running IE7?

I've had some luck using a a different browser.
Doesn't work all the time but it has bailed me out on some backups.

Try the Avant Browser.  Can be found here: www.avantbrowser.com

Does the .tar file extension not need to be included? It may not, I have never paid much attention to that.

I am trying to remember what I had to do. I think I went into internet options, added the address for the controller in then trusted sites, and in trusted site i changed all the options to low.  Also downloading and installing the mitel certificate doesn't hurt either.
