Multiple Phone Lines coming into one line?
« on: July 30, 2015, 02:27:28 PM »
I have the following scenario and I'm looking for the best options on resolving it.

Site A does not have a PRI so no DID's, because of this I took one of their local lines in LS5 and I have it always pointing at our voicemail system so customers can call that line and press the persons 4 digit ext. and get routed to that individual.  They have started to become busier than in the past so now folks are always getting a busy signal as it's just one line.

What I'm unsure of is if I get more lines from Telco and have them add those behind this main line of LS5 would this resolve the issue? I don't have any more LS trunks for physical lines so when you have lines hunting like this I'm not sure if it's like back in the day where you hear a beep and have to push a button to answer that call. Maybe there's another option that I'm unaware of.

thanks,
