Originating caller ID
« on: July 22, 2015, 09:33:04 AM »
Does anyone have any input on originating caller ID not passing through to a forwarded call to a mobile phone? The call hits a hunt group that forwards to an ACD path with an interflow endpoint that is forwarded to a mobile phone. I am not seeing the originating caller ID, is this by design or might I have missed something? The path and the interflow endpoint are on two different controllers over direct IP trunks.
Thanks!!

Assuming you have PRIs supporting the outbound calls, go into the ISDN Protocol form and check the "Replace External CLID" setting(s), depending on where the call goes out.

I would think that the caller id might be controlled by the forwarded endpoint.

By "originating caller ID" are you referring to the ID of an external caller into your system that is then forwarded? If so, effectively you are making an external call to the mobile and trying to present a number that you don't have. Not all trunk providers support this.
