NuPoint Recall
« on: May 30, 2015, 10:47:46 PM »
Is there a way to prevent a NuPoint Call Director mailbox from recalling an unsupervised transferred call?

I have a user who often forwards his deskphone to his cell. When someone calls him through the company's main number, which is answered by a CD mailbox, and the call is unsupervised transferred to the deskphone, NuPoint keeps recalling the it after 15 seconds.

The COS of the SIP trunks, NuPoint ports, and phone all have No Answer Recall set to 125 seconds.

When it recalls are you getting a generic greeting or the mailbox greeting.
If you're getting a generic greeting then the recall is being handled by the 3300 COS.
If it's the mailbox greeting then it's being handled by the NuPoint. (unless you're call forwarding it then its the forwarding timers)

Back when the Nupoint was text based we used to ensure that the mailbox did a blink transfer by adding a "H" to the extension string.
The "H" stood for hang up.   Not sure if this still works via the web interface but I know for sure if you edited the box via the text interface you can still do it.
