Forwarding incoming calls
« on: May 13, 2015, 11:22:35 AM »
HELP.
I am trying to forward incoming calls coming into a 5540 IP console directly to another extension.  When programming the first number of the call forwarding, the console is telling me that the extension is invalid.  How can I forward the calls to another extension that the console does not ring at all?

You'll need to use call rerouting.
Normally we'll use night 2 mode so the console goes into night 2 whenever the user needs to walk away.

OK.  This is going to be a stupid question but how do I set up the rerouting?  Is it through the console directly?  We have night 2 set up already (that was done 5 years ago and no one seems to remember how we did it).

Thanks

The forms you want to edit are:
Call Reroute First Alternative
Call Rerouting
