Mitel 3300 Cxi not startingup

Mitel friends,

I have an Mitel 3300 Cxi that wont startup.
The switch does powerup but the alarm and power lamp remains red. The process lamp in the middle does not led up.
Connect serial cable on the switch and i am not getting anything from the Vx Works informations through hyper termial.

Can someone help me with this? Any idea? Maybe power supply?

Could be PS.  Could be the MB.
If you're not seeing the POST then I'd bet the motherboard is bad.

I agree if you don't get to the press space... to stop boot, you are hosed. Does it pass the memory test?

the cxi doesnot do anything.
The screen of the Hyper Terminal is blank and the alarm & power remains red.

I had that once where someone had removed the hard disc from the box [purchased second user as a maintenance spare....]

Yes but even with no drive, you should still get the POST info and it should bootstrap into VxWorks at least.
