Voicemail press 0 announced transfer
« on: May 09, 2015, 06:24:16 AM »
Hi, we would like to start using the feature where callers can press 0 during a voicemail greeting to transfer them to an alternative extension.

I've noticed that when we do it, the caller gets an electronic greeting saying "Please hold while your call is transferred to extension xxx". Can anyone tell me how I surpress this message?

Each mailbox has the option 'Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt' - default is yes

Go to Voice Processor > Application-Related Information > Auto Attendant Information. Check that the Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt is set to "No". Also, make sure that under Voice Processor the Identification Prompt is set to "No". - I always forget about the Identification Prompt.

Thanks, the Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt has disabled it!
