How to disable SIP REFER?
« on: April 13, 2015, 11:44:58 AM »
Hi, Right now i am on MiVoice Business 7.0 PR1 SP1. When the call forward/ Call Transfer is enabled, Mitel is sending SIP REFER. I want to disable this. Is there any place that i can disable REFER for call transfers and Call Forwards?

It will be one of the settings in the SIP Device Capabilities profile for a device, or the SIP Peer Profile for a trunk.

The REFER option is triggered through the COS setting of the SIP trunk. The option Two B-channel Transfer Allowed should be set to default and that is NO. Unless your provider is supporting this. :)

Great, thanks. changing the "Two B-channel Transfer Allowed" to NO in "Class of Services Options" disabled the REFER messages.
