What do you recommend for an IP console?
« on: March 26, 2015, 01:54:38 PM »
Can anyone comment on experiences using the 5550 or 5540 consoles?  Is there one that you'd recommend over the other?

Also, what about using a 5340 as a console?  One notable drawback is that operators would have to press an extra key (transfer) instead of simply typing the extension to transfer calls.

We currently use a Superconsole 1000.

The 5540 is going to be the most like the SC1000, so training and usability will be familiar to  your users.

I wouldn't selll a 5550 right now. It's EOL, and has been replaced by the new PC Console.

Honestly, depending on the number of people in the system, we've found the UCA Console to be a good replacement.
