UC360 configuration for 3-way calling issue
« on: March 09, 2015, 02:38:17 PM »
we have 4 of these, nice units and all, and all are up and running, connected by SIP, doing calls, configured into our exchange system so can search our GAL, the whole nine yards

i want it to go to 10 (or even 11, h/t to ST)

it cannot make a 3 way call: all online documentation says to hit the graphic of one seat, you call the 1st person, then chose another 'seat' on the display, then dial that 2nd number, then you'll have a multi-party call, but....the 1st call drops and you are only in that 2nd call. i've tested using my cell, and on the cell that call is still active, but the UC360 cannot get it back

i've seen 1 place where you need to configure 4 lines in the 3300cxi for the phone (it originally was set up for only 3), but even after that change, i got nothing

any assistance would be appreciated

You need to configure number of lines and extensions in a call.
Maximum CO Trunks In A Conference   8
Maximum Parties In A Conference   8
Maximum Trunks In A Conference   8

Also make sure that you have conference call enabled in COS.

Are you using the feature access code to enable the conference call? This is to get the first call back. Or is there a conference key on The UC? Look at page 27 of the user manual.

yes, m-lines is set to yes, still looking for where the max co trunks and other configs are....
max trunk options (from above) were set all to 6, changed to 8, will test again...
and nada, the 1st call still gets dropped, whether you select the 2nd person right away, put the 1st one on hold, or choose to add-a-call

I got this from one of our bell techs.  It has all the settings for the UC360 sip device capabilities.  It has a polycom device listed as well.

I seem to recall having to program a couple multicall buttons on the extension

so my unit here is 2401 and I have button 2, 3 and 4 programmed up with multicall 2401
