Hi All,
I have a Mitel 3300 talking via SIP to an NEC SV8100. I'm just curious how the "Hold" works on it, and can it be altered. While running a Wireshark, I noticed my call sets up correctly, if I use "Hold" on the NEC SV8100 and then pick the call back up the two way audio is still present and good to go. If I use "Hold" on the Mitel 3300 and then pick the call back up there is no audio on either side. I noticed that the Mitel throws an "Invite" as part of this hold, and the NEC SV8100 does not.
Any Ideas? Can the "Hold" feature be altered in the same way as the NEC SV8100 whereby it doesn't send an "Invite"? I'm currently trying to get an answer from NEC on the exact nature of how "Hold" works via SIP.
Thanks,
-Iron
