MBG reporting no connected devices but they work?

Company is swapping to a newer Mitel system and I need to get an entire list of teleworker phones. I logged into Server Manger and it shows that I have 52 licenses and 31 devices configured. BUT none are connected, just has a red X. Why is it showing this when we have activate teleworker phones out in the field that are working?

Check your IP inventory form to see if that will give you a clue as to what the phones are actually connected to.

The IP's all over the place.  The MBG public IP starts with 66 but below are three phones that are up and running but say disconnected in the MBG.  Very confused.

I would bet that you have a MPLS network and the phones are connecting over that network now.
They probably were connected via the MBG at one point but not any longer.

Yep, I think you are right.  I came into this whole thing late and the guy who managed it didn't bother to explain the network to me.  I am assuming there isn't an easy switch to have the teleworker phones connect to the MBG (TW phones only)?  Or would I have to re-configure the whole Mitel system?

Reconnecting to your TW server depends a bit on how your network is set up.
If the remote network is using the MPLS to route out your local firewall then there isn't much choice for how to connect your phones.  It's still going to use your MPLS network.

If the remote site access the internet via a local router then you can set the phones back up to point to the external interface of the TW server.
