Drawing a mental blank on this one, I mostly install NuPoint. I can not find any clear instructions on the Built in AA.
Am I able to create a mailbox as a Menu Node and go from there. Should I be able to call the Menu Node box 7400 from an internal extension and the run thru the menu, or will it only work from the outside? I have 7400 set up but get a fast busy when I dial from the inside.

You need to create a dialable number in the PBX and reroute it on an always condition to VM. That number should match your menu node mailbox 7400.
Then you can dial it and hit the menu.
But you can still test prior to that.
If you call your normal vm pilot number it will ask you for your password.
Press '#' ( It might be *) and it will put you at the main AA level. You can dial 7400 from there.

I saw another post, where you suggested a hunt group, and then add the VM menu node extension as member, correct?
I keep getting wrong extension type when I try to add the VM menu node extension. (Hunt group type 'voicemail')

There is a handful of ways to create a "phantom" number.
- Create a new extension with 7400 as it's number. The phone will never be used.
- put a button on a phone of 7400
- create a hunt group as 7400 (not a member)
Then reroute that number to VM.
