Extension Renumbering... odd thing happened
« on: December 17, 2014, 10:43:13 PM »
Working on a very small system <10 phones. The client requested that we change their extension numbers so after hours connected to the system and changed the extensions.

According to System Monitoring all the 5300 series phones are online (idle) but the UC360 (SIP) and the remote work appear to be offline.

Am I missing something?

Because the UC360 is SIP, it has to register. So you'd have to manually update the 360 to match the new extension number in order to register correctly.

Damn it, that would explain why the remote extension has since come online and the SIP phone hasn't.

I was afraid something like that would happen.
