Automatic Record-A-Call
« on: December 02, 2014, 03:13:09 PM »
I am sorry if this is a duplicate but I could not find another post confirming or denying if the 5000 HX box it self is capable of automatically recording calls for particular extensions. I have read up on the applications but they all do a lot more than what we need. If so I am sorry I have looked all over could you point me to it in the DB Programming? [We are running CP 5.1 SP4 PR7 if it matters]

Thank you
Kenny

Kenny,

No the 5000 Record-A-Call Application does not auto record calls like a Call Recording Server. If you want that then try the Oasys Server which integrates well with the 5000 and other Mitel Applications.

Sorry,

TE

If you also can justify CSM for reporting you can use Intelligent Call Router app to record calls into a mailbox.  Just write a rule, can set parameters for pretty much anything the system knows...HG, EXT, CLID.  And you can set to only record some calls, say every second or fifth.  But remember this is going to use your voice mail ports so be sure you have plenty.
