3300 Scheduled Traffic File Transfer
« on: November 26, 2014, 09:58:08 AM »
This is from the help doc under Scheduling File Transfers.

You can use the Scheduler application to collect and transfer the following file types:
    SMDR Records
    Audit Trail Logs
    Telephone Directory
    Traffic Logs
    IDS Synchronization Files
    CPU Statistics Files
    MSPLogs Files

I have an interest in setting up a schedule to capture traffic logs to our FTP server.   The problem is that it doesn't give you the Traffic Logs option when trying to set up a schedule.   Help docs aren't helpful in this case since I can't find anywhere where I may be missing something.

I've include a screen shot so you can see what I'm seeing.
Anyone set this up before?

Ralph

Did you try the SMDR logs? Maybe it has both traffic and smdr.

We use SMDR logs.  It only contains SMDR data.

It's possible that the Help file has not been updated.  We've been wanting to use the traffic logs via FTP, but just as ralph found out, it's not an option under file transfer.

That wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't say in the help docs that it did work with traffic files.

I can see that I'll be digging into learning C and Python in my near future.
