Hosted User Service
« on: November 18, 2014, 06:33:42 PM »
I have a system that was decommissioned that I need to remove from the Network elements form, but it will not allow me to delete it because it "has an entry in hosted user service." Problem is that I do not see any users anywhere associated with this 3300. Can someone help me find the SDS Debug? PM the info please.

Or any other ideas?

What software version are you on?

There was a maintenance command I can give you tomorrow that worked for me.

I'm not sure at what software level it was added, but try "RemoveNE <NameOfElement>"

I have used this a couple of times, the last time I used it I think I was left with corruption.
The other times it worked fine.

You probably still have a telephone directory entry that references a dn on the node you're trying to remove.

I would just do a bootInstall and relicense

I'm assuming you removed SDS share on the system before it got decommissioned?  Otherwise, it definitely is a pain to remove that system in the network.

No, it was just taken out. I had them bring it back on line to remove it correctly.
