Analog to IP (SPA122)
« on: November 10, 2014, 03:03:04 PM »
I have a MITEL 3300 through a WAN to several remote sites. Works great for IP phones but I want to put Analog phones at these sites and use the IP WAN back to our central 3300.  I was looking at devices such as the Cisco SPA122... has anyone done this though their LAN rather than through a broadband connection which is what these seem to be designed for.

confirmation accepted but setup/configuration info would be even better!

Thanks.

You should be able to connect the wan port to the lan at the remote locations. As long as the lan ip doesn't conflict it should work fine. I don't think you will have anything besides the phone(s) connected to the ata anyway.
