Moving Controller to new PRI, what needs changing?
« on: October 27, 2014, 04:33:06 PM »
Hello,

We are moving our offices to a new city near by.  We are getting a new PRI installed at the new location with a new pool of phone numbers.  The PRI will be supplied by the same carrier so nothing major there.  Wondering what changes I need to make on the gateway to get the new PRI up and running.

I will modify all the accounts to the new phone numbers and system speed dials.  More concerned with the trunk part, the PRI connection.  What would you all change I guess would be the better question.

Thanks,

As x-man says, you shouldn't have to deal with anything to make the trunk work, as such. You will have to deal with the number change, which it looks like you're on to. Add to your list the DID Ranges for CPN Substitution and CPN Substitution forms, for your outgoing CLIP.

Same carrier, but is it the same CO switch? If not, you may have to change your protocol settings.
