Phone directory
« on: January 04, 2010, 03:22:36 PM »
Is there a link that i can send my users to, to view the phone directory online?  I know with the Cisco phone system there was a link that users were able to access.

If not is there a way of exporting hte entire directory to a cvs or xls file?

Thank,

Evan

I don't know how to hit the directory from a browser - however you can export the Telephone Directory from the Telephone Directory form - just hit export and it gives you a CSV file that you can open with excel or whatever . . .

It's unfortunant that the 3300 doesn't have a way to hit the tel-dir via a web browser.   The system already functions as a web server - that's how the ESM works.   I would think that it would be pretty easily to set up page on the system to do searches on the directory without having to be logged in.   Perhaps if all us VARS would open a DCR we might get it.

Tis a good idea Ralph - although I think I would put it in the desktop web interface for security reasons.

Also, maybe one of these guys can chime in on how hard it would be to write a script that logs in and grabs the directory so you could automate a process to put it on another web server.....

I would have to get into one to look.
