Mitel CS5000 - Latency/Jitter table
« on: October 09, 2014, 04:34:25 AM »
Hi Guys,

I'm trying to find an "official" guide from Mitel regarding latency/jitter requirements. and even better if there was some table that would identify what call quality we would expect on certain RTT ranges?

Thanks

Skipskip,

I have never seen a document from Mitel concerning such matters, although there may be something out there for the Sales a Engineering side of it.

Are you having problems with a remote phone? I am guessing since you were worried about RTT (Round Trip Time), but typically this is only a factor for remote phones and you would need to adjust your IP packets according to your issues.

Thanks,

TE

This is from the 3300 Voice Quality Troubleshooting doc.
Assume it would still be relevant for 5000.

Sarond,

That would be relevant for any VoIP installation, but it is a good reference.

Thanks!
