Mitel 3300 logs on port 1752
« on: September 30, 2014, 04:03:12 AM »
Hello All,
I am reading all logs on port 1752 and logging them to a SQL database for statistics ecc. Now I would like to use this port (or something similar) to integrate some functions into a custom ticketing system we've developed. I would need the same information that I already have, except I need to know about who is calling who when the phone call starts and not when it ends. Obviously some data won't be available like phone call duration...
Is this just a setting somewhere? Can it be achieved?
Thanks for all suggestions,
James

In short if you need real time you need to look at ACD instead.
SMDR will not do real time output.

Any pointers on how to go about reading the ACD?

Thanks,
James

It may not help you situation as it is aimed at Call Centre Agents and Queues.
Look at https://{Your Mitel IP}/uwi/help/En/sysadmin/acd_ucd/acd_real_time_event_records.html to an idea of the record format.

You could also look at this doc.
http://micc.mitel.com/kb/TroubleshooterGuide50584.aspx

Listen on port 15373 for ACD Data.

I might have not been 100% clear on my question. My question was more on the lines of how would i actually get to see the ACD data? Is it a particular port I can connect to? Do I need to do some configuration?

After re-reading your first post I think you are looking for more of a MiTai type of integration.

Sorry I can't help with this.

You may want to look at Mitel's Open Integration Gateway which allows you to develop your needs.

To see ACD data the user has to be an ACD agent.
Here's the IP port:
ACD Real Time Event
15373

Thanks for the help you are giving me. I'm not quite there yet though, when i connect to that port all I can see is a lot of hex codes:
Code: [Select]
{02}29R08594520141001{03}{02}30R08594620141001{03}{02}31R08594720141001{03}{02}32R08594820141001{03}{02}33R08594920141001{03}{02}34R08595020141001{03}{02}35R08595120141001{03}{02}36R08595220141001{03}{02}37R08595420141001{03}
About one every second. I'm not asked to login at any point so how should I specify the user?

Thanks,
James

Could someone give me some help on creating a user agent and then accessing the ACD data? It would be an enormous help.

Thanks,
James

To create an ACD agent, go to the form "ACD Agent IDs"
Create a ID using a unique non-DID number.

The records you see when connecting to port 15373 is not HEX.
However I think it's a lot more complex than can be addressed here in this posting.
To try and get an understanding of what the record is showing you, log into your system and do a search in the help files for "ACD Real Time Event Records".
The top result should show you everything that's avail on how to understand the real time event record.

Ok, I'm now able to read the data :) I'm only getting report refresh data. I configured an ACD agent and tried to login but got a missing licence error :( Is there a single licence per user or a general server licence?

I've contacted my distributor anyway... I'm also trying to sniff the traffic from an old version of Your Assistant software I have running on an XP machine, anyone ever had any luck with that?

Thanks,
James
