Embedded LS and ASU Outgoing Number Display
« on: September 04, 2014, 04:56:08 PM »
Good Day,

I am new to configuring analog lines on a 3300 unfortunately have only worked with PRI and SIP which is easy to accomplish but is not available in this location.

I have a couple single analog lines and trunk groups. My problem is the following how do I get specific extension to call out a specific trunk group. Everyone in the facility hits 9 to open external line and I cannot change this

Setting up Class of Restriction, and restricting users to only specific ARS routes and thereby trunk groups.

Also think you could use tenating to accomplish something similar, but I've never fully explored that idea/method.

Would the client let you implement dial "8"? This way anytime you dial out with an "8" you can make it dial out over the analogs.

If users only need access to certain trunks you could use interconnect restriction and use route lists.

I would suggest going with bluewhite4 and using COR.

Thank you guys for responding,

I cannot change the access number to the trunks do to standards within our region, we have a cluster 20 PBX's.

I really want to stay away from COR due to I will have another 9 sites that this could cause an administrative nightmare as well are sharing this form.

Has anyone tried tenanting and if so how did you accomplish this?
