3300 & 200EL Function
« on: August 27, 2014, 10:28:01 PM »
Hello everyone!
Will! Later version 3300 6.0 can do like 200 EL models,
With E1 or T1 DID;
Set extensions for analog trunk, do not grab the code, dial the outside it?

Thank you !!!

If I understand, you want to program phones so that you do not have to dail a code to get a trunk.
I think in the 200 it's called "direct to ARS".

No.  The 3300 does not do that.

Let me rethink this.
Hopefully some of the rest of you will chime in.

I'm thinking there may be a way.
Pretty complex but here's what I'm thinking.

1) set up a loop back trunk/trunk group.
2) Point a unique digit string to it.  i.e. 88
3) Absorb the 88 and insert the outside access ARS code.  i.e. 9.
4) Hot line a non-prime button on the phone to the 88 ARS code.
(I used a non-prime key here so the user can still make internal calls)

I'm thinking that now, when you press the non-prime button it should give you "outside dial tone".

I'm not 100% sure what you are after but here goes

I would approach using interconnects

Create 5 interconnects
1. Default, connects to all interconnects.
2. PRI trunks, allow connection to 4
3. Analog trunks, allow connection to 5
4. Extensions to use PRI trunks, allow connection to 2 and 5
5. Extensions to use analog trunks, allow connection to 3 and 4

You then modify your ars digits dialed to point to a list, that list then points to two routes (one for the PRI trunks and the other for the analog trunks)

Add the new interconnects to your trunks and extensions

With this ext 101 is on interconnect 5 when it tries to make a call it will fail on the PRI trunks and the go out the analog trunks

It may need some fine tuning depending what exactly you are trying the achieve.

As I couldn't figure out what he was asking, I'll keep mute. Believe it may be more to Ralph's response.

I myself don't do much interconnect restriction in regards to ARS, guess I'm just a COR man.
