Mitel 3300 - MCD 6.0 SP3 - Mitel 5312 Handset

I have set up a speed dial for an external number ( a mobile number) and have created a telephone directory entry for it. However when I call from that mobile just the number is displayed on the handset. The name that I associated with it in the tel directory isn't shown.

Thanks

Have you read the help documentation on Alpha Tagging? The speed call isn't needed; Alpha tagging must be enabled in System Options, and the Telephone Directory entry needs to include the ~ and your systems dial-out digit (ex 9) so that the number looks exactly like you'd dial it (~91XXXXXXXXXX)

The ~ should be after your outgoing route code.
e.g. 9~xxxxxxxx

Attach a screen shot of how you programmed in the T.D.
