Problem Software installer tool Windows 8.1

Hello,

I have a problem installing the software installer tool on a HP 470 G1 with Windows 8.1
I run the program as administrator and when the program is checking requirements i get the following error:
Windows 8 found-The MCD Software installer cannot be installed on Windows 8.
The software installer tool version is: 12.0.3.1
Also the software installer tool version: 11.0.2.6 give me a error: Windows 7 found-The MCD Software installer cannot be installed on Windows 7......I'm not using windows 7...
Both software installer tools i try also in compatibility mode, is not working.

The newest version MiVoice software installer tool i can install but give me a warning:
The MiVoice Software Installer in not supported on Windows 8.1 continue? Yes and the tool is installing.

Anyone has the same problem or has a solution for me??

I don't know if this is possible but on Windows 8.1 can you run a virtual XP or Win7 machine?

I can try it but i prefer using it without virtual machine.

Are there people that are using windows 8.1 and the Mitel Software installer tool?

Hi,

I am on Windows 8.1 and am running version 13.0.0.15.
I have upgraded a couple of systems with it with no problems, install seemed to be fine, although it has been upgraded a couple of times.

I have tried the latest software installer tool and then i only get a warning before the installation:

The newest version MiVoice software installer tool i can install but give me a warning:

Thisone i can install and works so far but the older versions installer tool is not possible for me to install on my laptop....

I don't know if it is a problem to install older versions (software) with the newest installer tool? Because i thought i heard that it's better to use the installer tool compatible with the software version for Mitel.

Oke i have installed the newest software installer tool and that is working
But now i try to install the software 11.0.2.66 and 12.0.3.15, same problem! Cannot be installed on windows 8...

Am i the onlyone with this problem?
