Embedded VM issue
« on: July 31, 2014, 11:36:43 AM »
I have a simple request from a client, reset two embedded VM passcodes

When I try to reset the passcodes (via the user and device config form, or the VM Mailboxes form), and click save, I get an error, "No Matching Record Was Found"

This happens with both mailboxes I am trying to reset.  Any thoughts or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

I find the easiest way to reset embedded vm passcodes is to login to the voicemail system as the admin mailbox.

Once logged in press 2 to edit mailboxes, then press 2 again.
Enter mailbox number and press # until you get to edit the passcode, you can then change it from there.

"No Matching Record Was Found"

Last time I saw that I had database corruption.
If I remember what I did (it's been a few years) I exported the VM database, located the recorded that was causing it and deleted the mailbox.

Thanks guys.

I suspect DB corruption as well.  For now I just deleted and re-added the two mailboxes that needed passcode resets..
