Hi,

I am not that great with he Mitel 3330, I am trying to work out a routing path.

Direct Dial 146 is a Speedcall to 695
695 is an ACD Path
this path has Recording 1: Directory Number = 8615
when i say locate number 8615 I get
The number refers to a Superset 4150.

I dont know where to go from here.

I know if I dial the number i think it plays a message at 8615 before being passed to another ACD group. I am just trying ot work out how it been programmed.

8615 is a "RAD" port
You will find RAD's under voice mail on your 3300

Rad are used to play messages to callers queueing on an ACD PAth or Hunt group.

Normally you would have a hunt group with RADS in rather than straight to a RAD port.

Recorded Announcement device, something like that.

they are voice mail ports with a different class of service (COS)

yes it does makes sense.

so now I have worked out.

speed dial 146 to ACD Path 695,
Play Recording 1: 8616
         8616 has a class of service 11, 11, 11   
After 10secs (Interflow time Out Seconds = 10)
Transfers to 696 (which is another ACD Group)

therefore my question is now how does 8616 know to play system announcement 5? i looked at class of service but I have no idea what i am looking for.

Agree with pmhaynes with the exception that you say when you call 8615 directly it plays a message then transfers to another ACD path. A RAD would normally play the message and hang up so there is the possibility that the RAD is in an external VM. Trying to remember if you program Nupoint ports as 4150 sets when doing call recording. Is there an entry in the tel dire for 8615 that says what it is?

Sorry didn't read your post closely enough ( no coffee yet ). You said that if you call the Queuue and it plays 8615 and then overflows to another group. That makes sense.

The RAD will play whatever message has been recorded into it. Not sure how that references you System annoucement 5.

Sorry hit sent to early. Bad day so far. The system has sets of greetings that you can setup and then assign to the RAD ports. That way you can easily assign a number of ports to the same message. Anyway all the programming is in the voicemail section of the 3300.

ha ha, it not easy to work out what people mean when you have no idea of the background!! But I am learning.

VM Greeting - Port ID 17 = RAD set 15
VM RAD Greetings - RAD set 15 = 5 (all the rest are blank)

So where do I find the link between 8616 and VM Port ID 17?
