PLID Question
« on: July 03, 2014, 09:00:24 AM »
Hello,

In the user and device form if I add a new number but select Analog for the phone it asks for the PLID. There is a analog number already programmed and it's PLID is 2114 so I just used 2113 and it let me program it. I know under Analog Trunks it shows the PLID of the POTS lines but I"m not sure where this 2114 and 2113 sits in the programming. My questions is where does this sit in programming and how many can one program? Do these relate to ONS at all in the back of a 3300 as I'm not sure what these really do?

Thanks,

If you look at the analog device form you will see the info there. If you program that form then it will reflect in the user and device config automatically. And yes, they are the ons ports on the back of the 3300 embedded analog card. The other 6 are for LS trunks. They are for analog units like fax machine POTS phones, modems and the like.
