Best way to divert a DDI number?
« on: June 17, 2014, 02:53:43 PM »
I have a customer that wants to divert a DDI number straight back out again. To get it working I have allocated a licence to a phone and put that on call rerouting always to the external number (speed call) and that works fine. Except it is consuming an Ip licence for nothing. Anyone any bright ideas how to do it without consuming a licence?

TIA

Tony

A system speed call wouldn't work?

As jrg0842 suggest, the best way to do that is to create a system speed call that matches your DDI and route it directly to the external number.
You need to tick "override toll security".

Thanks Guys....I could have sworn I'd tried that and it didn't work...but it does. Maybe I didn't tick the overide toll bit when I tried it.

many thanks

Tony
