IP Console Softphone

We have a few users that have 5500 IP consoles and I was curious if there is a softphone available for them.  It would be nicer if the operators were able to use a softphone but not sure if it's possible.  Or if there are other options for the operators to handle calls.  Any comments or suggestions are welcome.  Thanks

I think if I read the release notes correctly that the next release of MCD software (7) will have a software based console.

The other option in my mind is UCA's Operator option as well. You could even do a soft-phone with it if you wanted.
