Been trying to get this working for a while now, figured out a few things but am a little stumped...

In doing some Wireshark traces, I verified that HTTPS (443/TCP) and Telnet-TLS (2000/TCP) is required to do web based programming.

(WORKING NOW) Onsite:

1) Use Chrome and install the latest Java from http://www.java.com
2) Close Chrome after you verify that Java is installed properly
3) Go to Start -> All Programs -> Java and open "Configure Java"
4) Go to the Security Tab and move the slider down to Medium
5) In Exception Site List, click on "Edit Site List" and add http://xx.xx.xx.xx and https://xx.xx.xx.xx to the list, where xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the SX-200ICP. Acknowledge and accept any security pop-up warnings, click OK
6) Click Apply and then OK
7) Restart Chrome
8 ) Open http://xx.xx.xx.xx and login
9 ) Run/Allow/Accept any warning windows from Java
10) Reload the page if needed with F5 or SHIFT-F5

Should now be working On-site.

Offsite:

I attempted the same thing... Setup proper port forwarding (443/TCP & 2000/TCP) in the router to the SX-200 ICP's IP address from their public IP, and added the public IP to Exception Site List in Java Control Panel, but here is where the glitch comes in... I can get the login screen, and successfully login as installer, then the Java script loads and runs properly, and the Java Console looks normal with no errors, but I cannot get any content from the ICP, the menu loads on the left, but the right panel shows nothing or "Connection lost. Reload to reconnect" message and nothing I have done has been able to get it to work.

I also cannot get the Mitel Telnet-TLS client to work on port 2000 remotely, it says it connects, but I cannot get any response from the SX-200.

Any ideas on off-site connection problems?

I usually just use putty raw on port 2000 with local echo and local line editing forced off in the terminal section. Just use to the console screen and can get things done quicker.

Hmm... tried that and the Mitel Telnet-TLS client, both give me nothing back. Must be a router issue, will have to look into it more.
