5304 and Teleworker
« on: May 12, 2014, 08:10:56 AM »
Hi Guys,

I'm trying to add some 5304's to our 3300, I get the message "Option 128 Missing" no problem I thought, Press and hold 7 for the Teleworker option. I tried this but the phone boots up to "Configure Phone" no Teleworker.

Is there another way to get to Teleworker on a 5304 (Rev 5.2)

Thanks for your time

Regards

Carl

When you get there press * and then # and then enter the IP address. * saves the settings but it could be hash; its been a while since I did one.

Thanks for the reply,

The option I have is "Configure Phone" *= Yes #=No
If I press * for Yes I then get "Network Parameters" *=Yes #=No

I've gone up and down all the menus but can't find "Teleworker" anywhere. Most phones go straight to Teleworker option if you hold 7 at power up but not this one.

Regards

Carl

Do a "Help" or go on MOL to make sure you can make a 5304 TW.

You can either manually enter the ICP and TFTP address in the networks parameters on the phone or go through the menus until you see Teleworker mode and do it there. I assume this isn't outside your network since you were expecting the phones to boot.

Problem solved,

Thanks for all your help, I did as suggested and entered the IP for the ICP and TFTP.

Even now they are working there is still no Teleworker option, Strange as it is supposed to be supported.

Thanks again for everyones help.

Carl
