Superconsole 1000 trouble, no comm and software download required, SX200MX

Console will not boot up. Screen displays: no communication, software download required, boot 1.3.
The system(Hotel/Motel) is online and not displaying any alarms. Room phones can dial out and voice mail is online.
I'm not sure if console is bad-don't have a spare to test with.

Any suggestions for repair?

Console was in-service and cut off in middle of call.

Program up another DNIC port as a console and plug it in an see if it goes, if not, unplug and reinsert the DNIC card, if it still fails it is most likely the console.
