3CX Help

Hey Guys...

Anyone know how to change the 3CX Dial tone to the UK one? It's currently the United States one and we don't want it in our office.

Can't say that I've ever worried about the ring tone to ever go looking for where you could even change it.

I wouldn't have thought that it would have been that bigger issue?

Assuming its ring tone then the difference is quite marked for us Brits. We are used to the ring-ring of the brit system signifying an external call and the long ring of the mercan system signifying an internal call.

Having said that I have no idea where to change it in 3CX....

The only thing to check as far as I can  see is that you have the correct country set in setting>advanced....

Hey guys...

Thanks for the response. I have made sure we have United Kingdom selected in Settings > Advanced. I have also downloaded the UK Voice Set prompts which I was hoping would change the ring tone to the UK "Ring Ring" but unfortunately it hasn't!

I'm quite amazed why this simple feature is so hard to find or change. Asterisk is very easy but 3CX is a pain! I cannot even find anything online :(

No, It's not on the Handset as it's already set to the UK tones etc.

I get the US ring even when I'm accessing my local mailbox or ringing internal extensions :(

Well, ringing internal that is correct of course; uk uses single long ring for internal calls.

Hi, well even if it has a long ring internal I still don't want the US tone when I'm ringing clients etc or external for that matter, It's annoying and after paying a lot of money for a phone system, it's even more annoying. Even the Customer Service team at 3CX are a waste of space as they don't even know how to change it!
