I have two 24 port Streamline units. I have noted a similar problem in both and just want to confirm whether or not anyone else is having the same issue:
I have an NTP server on the network and both Streamlines configured to get the time from it. The problem is when I navigate to the "Admin" tab and then to "Logs" I can clearly see that both of my Streamline units are out of sync with the NTP...they know that they are out of sync, there are logs detailing exactly how much they are out of sync, but the units fail to ever actually update the system time.
Here is a snippet of the log:
Apr 29 09:19:23 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -12.458719s
Apr 29 09:22:18 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -12.692293s
Apr 29 09:25:28 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -12.824042s
Apr 29 09:26:30 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -12.945684s
Apr 29 09:27:34 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -13.454652s
Apr 29 09:43:38 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -13.522583s
Apr 29 09:43:47 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -15.399899s
Apr 29 10:18:53 ntpd[216]: adjusting local clock by -19.574738s
Even though the logs state it is adjusting the the local clock, it clearly is NOT as a few minutes later the time has continued to slip. Can anyone confirm a similar issue with NTP on a Streamline?
