Caller ID for incoming calls showing Trunk Label
« on: April 10, 2014, 03:13:29 AM »
Hi,

Im having this issue on a site where by incoming calls are coming up on the screens as E1 (PRI Trunk label). How can I get it to show up as the number calling?

These are my COS settings for the Trunk:

Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number - Yes
Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only  -  Yes
Display Caller ID on multicall/keylines - Yes
Display DNIS/Called Number Before Digit Modification - Yes

These are the COS settings for the phones:

Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number - Yes
Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only - Yes
Display Caller ID on multicall/keylines - Yes
Display DNIS/Called Number Before Digit Modification - Yes

I'm I missing something here? The phones are 5224. System is a cxi running on MCD 6.0 SP2

Cheers!

Do you have CLIP enabled from the Carrier?
You might want to try EDT Traces to see if they are presented at the PRI level.

The trunk label is displayed if caller ID is not available.
Sarond is right, check with the system or call your provider.

Agreed. If the number is not sent, you get the trunk label as a default.
