TW to MPBG Part Number?
« on: March 17, 2014, 10:10:01 AM »
I need to do an upgrade of Telworker 4.5 to Multi-Protocol Border Gateway 5.1 but can't find the part number, can anyone help me out here... mid-install and Mitel is being, ummm, less than helpful. I know it's a free part, just can't find the number I need to order.

I don't think there was an upgrade part number... you should be able to upgrade without one. Just install upgrade msl to be able see the newer blades.

Yeah, it shows Teleworker 1.7 and nothing for TW/MBG in the Blades panel... I spoke to AMC and they say "they think" I need 54004578, but no one seems to even remember a Multi-Protocol Border Gateway 5.1 but they said if I apply the license and it isn't what I need they will remove and investigate further.

EDIT: Nevermind, that was the right part number... it worked.

Well.. it's isn't a "multi protocol border gateway" , it's just a "Mitel Border Gateway" MBG... which is now a "MiCollab Border Gateway" MBG...

Actually Multi protocol border gateway was one of the names that the TW went through to reach what it is called now. Not sure what it will be called next week.

You're probably right, I can never keep track of them... I vote for "Mitel 6010"... that was the best name.
