Using History to Call Back Results in Invalid
« on: March 18, 2014, 07:52:27 PM »
Greetings,

With our 3300 MXe's, we are required to dial 9 to dial out. When using the history key to check missed calls and call them back, we get  INVALID. If I input the 9 before the number it will dial. Any way to pre-pend the 9 to call history calls.

Check your system options Outgoing External Call Prefix For Applications and see if there is a 9 in there.

Inward dialing mod will put this in if you configure it as well. Then you just hit the dial button from the call history and the call works.

Can't say I've tried sarond's method, so might have to give that a go myself.

from the MCD 6.0 bulletin......

AUTOMATIC OUTGOING CALL PREFIX FOR CALL HISTORY
This DCR brings consistency to the higher-end display set's Call History Application in line with the basic version found on the 5312 & 5324 sets. This new feature will automatically insert the outgoing call prefix into the dialling string
