Conference Call Question
« on: February 19, 2014, 04:28:32 PM »
Hello,

Let's say a customer 1 calls in and then an employee picks up the call and does a conference call with say an IVR outside the company. When there on the 3 way call I know you can hit release me on the phone and hangs up on the employee but how do you hang up on just the IVR so the employee and customer can continue to talk?

Thanks,

I believe you should have a "Split" key.  Hitting that key should connect you to the last person you were talking to.
You can then toggle between them and hang up on the IVR.

Look for the features called Split and Trade in the help.

Thanks Guys, I have never noticed the split before. Once you split you can trade calls then hangup on the person you no longer want to talk to.

Thanks,
