SIP Trunk Between Mitel 3300 and Server
« on: January 30, 2014, 04:50:43 PM »
Hi there Mitel friends,

I want to test the following.
I have a Mitel 3300 and a server on the same Vlan. On the server I installed demo call center software.  For the Call Center to be able to connect to the Mitel 3300 ICP a SIP trunk is needed. When the call center software is connected with the MItel, it will receive all ACD information in order to make report and real-time monitoring of queues.
SIP trunk information needed for the call center software is username, password and IP address. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advanced.

What does SIP trunks have to do with the ACD?
Sorry, confused!
Are you using the Mitel ACD with a monitoring/reporting server like Prairiefyre?
If you are using soft phones from the Mitel you need SIP stations not trunks.

You can't do what you want with a SIP trunk. The Mitel will generate real time records and SMDR records when working in conjuction with ACD. You would then need to retrieve those records with a telnet session to the IP ports configured in the 3300 if you want to collect those records for reporting.
