Route Dialed digits to internal extension

I have a remote office that I have integrated into our Mitel 3300 utilizing teleworker solution and SIP trunks.

The problem I have is our main office can now call and transfer to an internal extension to this remote office. But, old habits die hard and many will continue to call the main number, this will create SIP traffic and long distance charges.

 

So what I want to do is program the system so that if a user dials or transfers 914195551212 the system will route that call to the internal extension of 4790. Note that the last 4 of the telephone number do not match the extension.

 

Ideas on how I can accomplish this?

Options might be to:

1). create a system speed dial 914195551212 that points to 4790.
2). If that doesn't work then because 9 is a ARS access string you need to use trunking to resolve. You can create looped IP trunks so that if they dial the 91419 number it accesses the looped trunks rather then the SIP trunks and it becomes an internal call.
3). Toll restrict the number above so that they get the message "Call Barred" when they dial it. They shouldn't be dialing it anyway.

Unfortunately the speed call number can only go 7 digits. Not the actual number, though. Is this number part of the DID range? So, can you make it a 4 digit speed call?

No it is not part of our DID range, this is where I not sure how to accomplish this.

ARS digits dialled: 914195551212 to a new route to your PRI (or a loopback IP trunks)
digit mod: delete all digits and insert a spare DID number
Speed call: last four digits of the DID to 4790
The call is local but uses two trunks at a time that is why the Loopback IP trunk would be better.

I'm thinking that the best option is to black the external via ARS.
Changing old habits will be easier than creating a loop back trunk.
