vMAS with IDS

Hi...

I have a vMAS (R5.0) running all applications. The User and Services were populated from the UCA integration wizard. There is currently no IDS running separately on any of the apps.
My question is... Can the MAS IDS available in 5.0 be enabled at this point to allow users a single windows log in for the apps running? Docs do not state that you cannot, or that you can.
Just wondered if anyone has done this?

Tried that in my lab some weeks ago.

You can configure MAS IDS with existing users in MAS Users and Services.

I had some existing MAS users having the same username in Active Directory. I was able to "associate" these existing MAS users with IDS. You just have to add these users in IDS form. Now, these users are able to use AD password.

You can try it. Always make a backup if something goes wrong.

You are talking about using a persons windows login as the login on Mitel apps? Interested to find out the result.
