Multiple Console's
« on: December 03, 2013, 10:32:44 AM »
I have a customer with multiple consoles. A 5550 IP console as extension 1500, and an older DNIC console as extension 1000.

The customer is a nursing home, with permanent residents who call the operator at 1500 regularly. The problem is that the residents get a little chatty, and 1500 has problems switching to new incoming calls.

Right now if 1500 doesn't answer an incoming call, it marks her absent, but doesn't start ringing at 1000. How do I set it up so that it does "overflow" to 1000?

Calls to an Operator console or to the Console softkeys are part of the Call Rerouting. You should be able to set a first alternative on the number to the second option.

Is there not a COS option to have a console go absent when NA?
